Frequently Asked Questions

Your Guide to Periodontics and Prosthodontics

01

How often should I do a dental cleaning?

Dental cleanings are typically recommended every six months to maintain optimal oral health. However, individuals with periodontal problems may need cleanings more frequently, often every three to four months, to effectively manage and control their condition. Look out for signs like bleeding gums, bad breath, or gum recession. If you're experiencing any of these, it's time to see a periodontist for evaluation and treatment options.

03

What are dental implants, and could they work for me?

02

What happens during a dental cleaning?

During a dental cleaning, plaque and tartar are removed from your teeth, followed by polishing and flossing to leave your smile clean and refreshed. Regular cleanings help remove plaque and tartar buildup, reducing the risk of complications and promoting healthier gums and teeth.
